My style is very simple, outdoor portraits, I use natural light and flash when is required. I won't ask your child to smile or hold a pose. It's more about capturing an unexpected moment when your child is at ease and being himself. I like to take my cues from the child and let things unfold naturally.

The most interesting pictures are those that capture their true emotions: silly, sweet, mischievous, pensive, daring...

My goal in the end is to present you with pictures that reflect the true inner beauty and spirit of your child.

Sam is an on-location photographer who specializes in commercial assignments, contemporary baby, child, and family portraiture, headshots and modeling portfolio images for signed models, so there are many interesting possibilities. I recommend a location where your child can feel relaxed and unhurried. It might be their own backyard, a park, a garden or an inviting porch.

I can also offer more formal portrait settings in your own home. I will supply the backdrops and lighting while you supply the space.
